Ormskirk Mark Lodge No 734 Installation 9th November 2023

W.Bro. George Andrew Wiltshire, Provincial Grand Junior Warden made his First outing as the Representative of the Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master at the Installation of W.Bro. Tony Prior, Provincial Grand Junior Deacon, as Master of Ormskirk Mark Lodge. Tony was previously Master in 2021 and this coming year will be his 5th as a WMM having previously held Office in Ormskirk Priory Mark for 3 years.
The Provincial Grand Junior Warden, the new Master and the Installing Master
It had been intended that W.Bro. Prince Bagley would be proclaimed as WMM for a second year but recent health issues prevented this and Tony stepped into the breach. At late notice W.Bro. Paul Carr, Past Provincial Grand Sword Bearer, was required to perform the Installation Ceremony which he carried out in exemplary manner under the guidance of W.Bro. Mike Melling, Past Provincial Assistant Grand Director of Ceremonies, the Lodge DC.

Due to all of the last-minute changes it became necessary for the Addresses to be delivered by me to the WM and the Overseers while Paul Carr delivered to the Wardens. Fred Hargreaves PGJO of Ormskirk Priory Lodge stepped in with the Keystone Address and the Provincial Grand Junior Warden excelled with the Address to the Brethren for the First time.

He then brought greetings from the PGM and received a generous cheque for the West Lancs Mark Charity Fund.

The evening concluded with the usual, superb, Festive Board and a great time was had by all present.

I am sure that everybody, especially the new Worshipful Master, went home feeling that they had enjoyed a Nine evening of Mark Masonry.
